For 78 years, traditional state-to-state diplomacy and standard conflict resolution models (like ABC Theory and TKI) have failed to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Furthermore, as the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin demonstrated, top-down secular treaties are fatally vulnerable to fringe extremism.
I am writing to share a newly published policy brief titled "The Playbook: Multi-Religion Election Systems as a Peacebuilding Mechanism."
Instead of asking Israelis and Palestinians to abandon their deeply held identities, this framework proposes a structural shift: utilizing Multi-Religious Electoral Systems (Mandated Interfaith Joint Tickets and Interfaith Veto Councils) to turn religious identities from points of fracture into the very mechanical engine that forces cooperation and shared power.
